Doodleing with emphasis- fourth grade lesson
I was looking at some example of Zentangles the other day and thought it could be a great inspiration for my fourth grade students. We watched some YouTube videos of people making Zentangles and the student began to create their own. It was truly and exercise in endurance since most of the kiddos never worked for so long on such a detailed project.
We added a circle using compasses and added color to only the circle, creating emphasis in the composition. The finished products really turned out great and I could see the students' pride in their accomplishment.
